I came in this morning to find my last surviving 48GX covered in cat vomit. Not the most fortuitous start to the day. Pulled the batteries and now have it in a bag of rice, am hoping it can be resurrected.
So folks, just remember, if you think you are having a bad day, at least a cat hasn't thrown up on you. Words to live by.

The rice trick works good, but you might also try, with the batteries out, pouring rubbing alcohol over the keyboard and swishing it around, then back in the rice. The alcohol will help clean out any "solids" you may have!!

There is RX3200 Electronics Wash that cleans and evaporates quickly that is used by the professionals.
BTW, a bag of charcoal is a great place to absorb those annoying aromas.
Just one of several reasons cats belong in the barn and not in the house/office, etc..

ALL pets should be kept outside, except two-legged, hot ones.
Holy Cow, we agree on that one very quite thoroughly. I happen to be married to one like that.
