I'm thinking that you're not far off on that Angel. I don't recall the exact location, somewhere early in the Old Testament I think. There is a passage that every living thing will one day have to answer to God for their actions when on the Earth. While the Lord spells out His standard for us throughout scripture, I don't claim to know God's standard for animals, but I'd bet (at least hope) that he would adjust it depending upon their capacity to make rational decisions and understand those decisions. That probably places, at least most dogs, somewhere in God's heavenly Kingdom.
So now God is deciding "good dog", or "bad dog"?
How about all the other pets?
What's his criteria?
Is there a pet Hades, or just one for all of God's creatures?
Does God only decide for pets, or for all animals?
What about insects?
This just got me started thinking about all these serious questions.
Maybe I need a good fundamentalist preacher to explain it all.
Oh, wait a minute, that's an oxymoron.
Get real, they just die like we do!
Don't be a jerk Ruell. A good fundamentalist preacher, or a good preacher of any variety will tell you the same thing I did about what God does or thinks. He tells us quite clearly by what standard he judges us in scripture. He only hints at his standard for any other living thing. We can only guess at anything he hasn't clearly told us. A lot may try to say they know what God Thinks or will do beyond what is clearly stated in scripture. Those people are deluding themselves. And yes, He does decide where each person and living thing will end up. Whether or not you choose to believe it now is up to you.
