My first attempt with images here at beerleg.com here goes nothing...
Well that was easy, thanks again Wendell!
And thanks to you & Angel for the postcard too!
The soda pop ones remind me of a pic I have of my grandma giving me RC cola as a baby. I'll have to scan it and show ya.

Noodles incredible how ciggy companies tried to con woman into believing that it was cool for their loved one to blow smoke in their face. Obviously designed to have them inhale and therefore want to take up smoking.
How times have changed. Today guy blowing smoke into face of woman would be up for assault.

Yea no kidding. My mom smoked with me all throughout her pregnancy and LIFE for that matter. My relatives were also all heavy smokers. I was exposed to 2nd hand smoke for my entire upbringing until I moved out! Sadly I have also watched smoking kill them off in horrible slow suffering deaths, one by one. 🙁 It is probably the worse addiction on the planet; none of my relatives could ever quit. They were maniacs when they'd try!! (And had me pulling out my hair).:-O

Here's the pic I was talking about. 🙂 It was taken July 1971. I was 10 months old.
Here is another "vintage" pic. Check out the funky yucca trees, my "hip" bike & dress, and 1970s house! LOL!!! Anyone know what kinda car that is in the driveway??? (I do.) I owned that car up until 1997. Her name was "Sharlet". My mom bought her when I was born and passed her onto me when I turned 18. I sure miss that car!!! 🙁
 Angel
And Wendell DON'T give it away what kind of car that is!! 😛
 Angel
is that a Javelin? maybe a grand torino(sp)
AMC Javelin? Edit: beat me to it. ^^^
I had a lime green 1971 Ford Maverick coup with 302 V8. That car is long gone.
Tail lights and bumper aren't right for a Javelin... Not a Grand Torino either. Think Starsky and Hutch. Rear end on the Javelins and Grand Torinos were more snubbed than this car is.
But my brain cells are fizzling out on the ID beyond that.
For some reason I'm thinking it's a Mopar offering, Dodge/Plymouth... and for some reason, some random brain cell is leading me to think it's something maybe with the legendary Slant 6?
Well it's not a ford torino because the rear lights were set in the bumper.....hmmmmm
Ahhhh...the dodge Demon
Plymouth Duster...or Dodge Dart - great cars, durable as an anvil.
How did you know??? 🙂 I sure miss that car!!!

1971 Dodge Demon. 318 Engine. We named her "Sharlet" because my mom didn't like the name "Demon".
You are right...durable as an anvil and solid as a rock!! Wendell is going to buy me another one...someday he says. Right now I just have to settle for the hot wheels version. :-/

Noodles,
I had a 1971 Duster with the slant 6.
Your 10 month picture was the same month I had to register for the draft. Yes they still had it then.
SJ
Yer a wise man, Stephen. You owned a MOPAR!! 😉
I guess I am showing my age. I'll be 40 in September. You don't seem to be "draft age" old; I always got the impression you were my age or younger. hehehe But hey think of it as fine wine or beer. With age it gets better and tastier! =)
