And, for the record, it has become quite fashionable for people in urban Portland to raise chickens and goats, for food, on their half million dollar subdivision lots. How else can you be sure that your poultry is truly organic, and that your food had a happy life?
Ah, yes, the "micro-farm" (that would be "garden" in regular English).?ÿ We've a healthy dose of those too.?ÿ Now they're even building dedicated subdivisions for them, complete with "farm houses" like these:

SWMBO came home the other day and gave me a $100 Land's End cashmere sweater, with tags still attached - $3.99 @ Salvation Army.
Over the next few months the Salvation Army second-hand store is a great place to pick up on flannel shirts.?ÿ My guess is a lot of people got them for Christmas and donated them because didn't want them.
$1.50 is a steal for a?ÿnew shirt...especially since 99% of?ÿmy work shirts?ÿdie a warrior's death at the hands of barbwire fences.
Whenever you find yourself in a high dollar area or town always be alert for the Goodwill store.?ÿ
I just picked up a "new" Stanley thermos from goodwill over the holidays for $3, it was in excellent shape and was made in Tenn.
I also have six or eight Pendleton wool shirts from the same source, none costing more than $4-5.?ÿ One day SWMBO stopped me at the door as I was leaving for the field wearing one of them.
?ÿ ?ÿ
?ÿ"Where'd'ya think you're goin', mister?"
?ÿ...."Ummm, out to work?"
"Not in that shirt, you're not!"
"But honnnnneeee, it's a 4$ shirt"
"No, it's a hunnerd dollar shirt - go take it off right now!"
Sheesh
Was she expecting you to drop your britches also?
Not sure how relevant this is, but it's got that small hometown feel about it.?ÿ
