Yup. The radio people are squawking that the odds are high again tonight.

No major damage here but looks like a small tornado touched down in Wentzville. Very rough out in KC. And now...snow this weekend? Really?
Currently doing a head count on offspring. All were in areas affected very strongly last night. In fact, several houses were destroyed somewhere very close to the middle daughter's home.
Here, we had hard rain and small hail in places. No big deal. But, there were little spots of tornadic activity reported within a 50 mile radius.
Finally heard from the next generation. All are safe. One was hunkered down in the bath tub with her two dogs for quite awhile in Kansas City. Another was only a mile or two from severe damage to six or eight houses. One of those houses was torn in two.

Glad everybody is OK.
Which one of the "halves" kept the wheels and axles? 😉

In the daughter's area of Hickville, er, uh, I mean Smithville, they keep the wheels and axles hidden in the basement below the three car garage. Too uppity of a neighborhood for someone who would insist on using the back deck as the launching site for chasing off the neighbor's cats with a pressurized yellowish liquid.
Hang on Louisiana and Arkansas surveyors! Mississippi you're next.

Hey, It is spring in the High Plains. What do you expect? 5-10 mph breezes and gentle rains?
HA!!
