Definitely one of the good old boys.
I didn't realize he last race wasn't until 1992.

His Daddy (Buck) was an old time racer and his brother (Randy) runs a driving school on Nascar tracks called SppedTech. My wife drove 30 laps on Atlanta Motor Speedway at one of Randy's schools.

Yes sir and so was his Daddy. The first NASCAR? race I ever went to was the last beach race in Daytona in 1958. I was 8 at the time and Buddy's Dad finished 7th. May they rest in NASCAR heaven. Fortunately I also went to the first Daytona 500 (1959) and have been a race fan ever since.
