The power stick on my Trimble 5600 shows manufacture date of 2003, time to replace the batteries, I think!! Has anybody recelling done for the power stick? where, how much?
I live in CA. Do you think it's better to replace the whole power stick, if I find one?

I've used them several times for the power stick and it always worked out well. Very reliable. Just be sure to follow the shipping directions on their website. Recell is $179 and good as new.

There is a place online that does it. I need my replaced as well. Surveyor's Materials in StL can replace the whole unit for 320.00 (if I remember correctly). Not sure how much the re-cell would be but I would go with a whole new one. Mine is manufactored in '02. Not too bad considering daily use.
