Yesterday in a response to Kris Morgan (in a thread that's no longer with us), I tried something fancy with an image of a hand pointing that is available on a keyboard that I've downloaded to my iPad. Here it is again: ?See??. It looked good on my device then, but when I looked at it on a pc later it wasn't there, just a weird little box. My question is: can other people who have various Apple devices see the hands, or does it just not translate at all?
Thanks
Don
I can see them. They're kind of small and indistinct on my system (especially the left-pointing one), but they're discernible.
Are you on a Mac, Jim?
Don
?See??
I can see them with a PC using chrome.
?See??
This is neat!
Thanks, BH
Don
?See??
I looks like it is an old wingdings font symbol number 70-80. It is Unicode 9756 and 9758 BTW
?See??
Are you all pulling my chain? All I see is a little box-like thing. No hand.
?See??
Answer from search:
Some symbols may not show because your computer does not contain the font set and/or your browser is not set to the correct Character Encoding. If you see squares or question marks instead of the symbol you need to make sure you change your browser's encoding to Unicode from its View Menu.
I see (copy & paste) ?See?? (hand pointing right and a box with 26 over IC
edit: your hand is larger than mine and your box is taller than mine after I cut & pasted.
