I have pretty decent speakers for a computer and my 45 year old Harmony arch back sounds better than that.

May be a while yet, bought a 1968 Recording that is a true pile, will require new electronics all the way around. It at one time belonged to Bo Diddley, and spent a few months sitting in a mud filled case somewhere in the Ninth Ward after Katrina.

I got it when I bought about 20 trumpets and cornets in the same situation, took a few days to get them all playable, all the cases were trashed. The woman threw it in just to get rid of it, so it is essentially free.

Before I get that one up and running, have a 2004 Strat in the shop right now that is going to be my beginner guitar. I've always wanted to learn to play, if I can't get it done on a Strat or Les Paul it just ain't happenin'.

If you're ever interested in unloading any of those trumpets I'd be interested! I've switched over to a cornet myself, so if you have any of those around....let me know!
