Do a search for today's police chase in the Oklahoma City area. I was wondering why he hadn't posted for such a long time. Guess it will be a lot longer now.

I caught the chase live on the tv when I came home for lunch. It started about 11:30 and usurped my normal habit of watching the news and weather while I choke down a sammich. I was a little pissed that I had to watch some loser dub-tee tear up somebody else's truck instead of the weather forecast....
I'm gonna have to side with Unc on this one, as warped as he is I know he could have come up with a better name than "Brenton Hager".;)
He could have stolen the name of the new character in "Dilbert", the comic strip: Barry Dingle, the guy who just hangs around.

On a serious note, there are a good number of intelligent and productive citizens in Oklahoma. It is beyond my comprehension why the only Okies that make the national news are those with an overabundance of Neanderthal genes and meth in their system. Now the rest of us have to feed and keep that idiot warm and dry for the next ten to twenty...

Don't get me started on that. It ain't just in Oklahoma. In Florida the more babies an unwed member of "oppressed minority" have, the more welfare they collect. Most of the inmates in Florida are living high on the hog as compared to their previous living accommodations.

My theory is the news folks gravitate to their own kind when they conduct interviews. Which is why I rarely watch any news outlet, local or otherwise. I usually feel dumber for having watched.
