Check this out to see an oddly shaped county. The southwesterly border is sawtooth-shaped. The northwesterly border is similar, but, not nearly as many jobs.
Anyone know of one with an even stranger shape?
Looks like it's bounded by a river on one side and land lot lines, or section lines, on the other.
Could it be Keith Williams and Kent McMillan trying to out
do each other with the variations due to Richard Schaut fence line surveys?

Looks a bit like Alaska, or maybe an elephant's head.

Yeah Andy,
Andy, that's why they have been buzzing about splitting it up and making a North and South Fulton for years.
Fulton County, Georgia
Actually what they want is to put it gack the way it was. Fulton was combined from two counties (in the 1930's I believe) and now some people in north Fulton want it to go back to the way it was.

Nice info Andy.

I don't believe it will ever happen
There are already 159 counties in Georgia (WAY too many) and it will take a constitutional amendment to add another county.
