So I am making a Polish Chicken and Dumplings recipe from allrecipes , and ofcourse my non-PC brain immediately expect.
boil pork loin on medium heat for 2 hours.......
I am guessing I wont be doing any editorials for NPR, but I'm 50% mick Irish, so I can take em as well as give em.
I love Polish jokes
Didja hear about the Polish guy that went to the eye doctor?
The doctor asked him if he could read the letters on the eye chart.
"Read it?", he replied, "Hell, I live next door to him."
I used to work for a guy whose last name ended in ski, back before so much fuss was made about ethnic jokes. He loved to collect all of the Polish jokes, most of which made him the object of ridicule.
He was on a trip to a Canadian subsidiary where they had a staff roster that read like the United Nations. One guy called him over and asked if he wanted to hear a Polish joke. Of course, he eagerly said yes. So the guy told him one ... in Polish.

Did you hear how the Polish were thinking about switching from the left to the right side of the highway? They decided to switch trucks and buses over first and see how they like it.
OH HAR HAR HAR!!!

In full disclosure, the Polish know how to do chicken and dumplings. I have tried several recipes and his one rocks the house!
Polish Baby Feeding
Polish women stopped breastfeeding their children when they saw an article suggesting that after feeding a baby the nipples should be boiled for health reasons.
Polish Baby Feeding
dang that's funny.
Polish food
My mother's whole family is Polish and I must agree that whether it's chicken and dumplings or my grandmother's chicken soup with homemade noodles, they know what they're doing. Now changing light bulbs, maybe they use too many people turning the house. Aside from that the Polish people are brilliant.
Plus, you could show up at my grandmother's house at any time on any day of the week and she could prepare a full balanced meal from just the leftovers in the refrigerator. Later on when she lived in the assisted living place, she tried to carry on that tradition but the old moldy cookies she had brought home from the dining commons didn't live up to the old days. The spirit lived, though.
