I've heard the arcs shoot at 11.5 feet. That's the helo's clearance. The reason they use D-500 helo is exactly because it is so maneuverable (sp?) and stable in a hover.
I got serious respect for electricity.

I reckon I ain't doing neither.
Edit: I think they call that deal where the dude hooks up to the line is called "latching on".
