Who will win this year?
Boston Bruins is my call. This Chara, at 6 ft 9 in, solid, reminds me of a James Bond Villain!
I was watching sport channel a few years ago pre-game, comical moment... Camera filming the Bruins players walking from the bus to the Sport Centre. Comes out Tim Thomas, the goalie with an opinion...Security steps in (the only player stopped by security) "not so fast Tim, please open your bag..." You are being washted.
Hockey is a much better game once the playoffs roll in. Very good entertainment.

It would be great irony if the St. Louis Blues beat the Bruins in the finals.
St. Louis has a solid team, wouldn't surprise me.

I haven't paid serious attention to hockey since Jacque Plante and Maurice Richard. Yes, I'm really that old. Growing up in the U.P. all we got to watch on early T.V. Friday nights was "Hockey Night in Canada!" There were six teams then, two Canadian and four American, but all the players were Canadian. I played a little as a kid, like we all did, on backyard rinks that our dads made by running water in shoveled out areas of the snow. I never liked it much, but I was still too young to drink so what else could I do?

The playoffs begin Wednesday but we won't get to the finals until sometime in June.
