Because IF he caught a big one, he will tell you.
IF he did not do well, he does not want to talk about it.
If he HAD a big one, that got away, well that too is a painful story.
So, look and see if he has a big one, and if he does, then, ask how the fishing was.
Now, he can braggggg, and if you don't like listening to bragging, then DON'T ask, because he is GONNA tell you, if he finds you!
So, never ask a fisherman how the fishing was!
🙂
The worst day of fishing is still better than the best day at work!
If he tells you where he caught it, he's lying.
That is so true. I had somebody show up with a NICE stringer of fish, and I asked him where he had caught it, and it was obvious that he was "Thinking one up" to tell me. "Just around the bend, off the end of the pier" (Where EVERYBODY fishes, and it is mostly fished out!) Just funny!
mine is: by the big rock.
I love it! If it weren't for fishing, we would not have to lie so much! 🙂 Snort!
I was out fishing this weekend and it has improved, along with the weather. Get 'em while their hot!
Now for something completely different: Finger found! in fish.
So nice that somebody cares!
