What a series by this young man. A walk off grand slam in the 11th in game 2, and a three run blast in the 11th tonight to put the Rangers up 3 games to 1.
Even thougth the season is on hold (I hope), I would vote for Kevin Durant. He is pretty good at what he does and is a good person.
And a great defensive play to save a run.
Of course, Pujols is batting something like .650 with a ton of RBI's.
Looks like a great series coming up, no matter which of the four team make it.
Yea Tim, things are looking a bit, shall we say befuddled, for my boys. We'll just see how ole' Justin fares today.
But you Rangers sure do know how to hit timely home runs. And that throw from right field to nail Cabrera at the plate speaks for itself...
Not to take anything away from Cruz because it was an awesome play and throw, but Cabrera is a cow on the basepaths.
No bush league teams here...
But this Texas looks like the srongest one in the bunch, if they can avoid tripping over themselves like other Texas teams have.
And St. Louis is hot right now as well.
Sorry, but he wasn't born in America. (I was going to say either, but I decided to be good). But Cruz is a beast.
I'll never forget:
I was in a bar at a family gathering in Marblehead MA during the 2004 Game 3 Yankee win.
The Yankees were up 17-6 and the Sox scored twice.
A guy at the bar yelled out "That's it baby...only nine more!!!!"
And he was SERIOUS.
After watching them win the only one of four from Tampa Bay at Fenway last month, I've gotta say, they are among the best fan base ever.
