When they stopped regular programming yesterday for "breaking news" they went on for a good 10 minutes or so with the story of her life. It always unnerves me a bit when the networks do that sort of thing. That confirms that they have people on staff who write the equivalent of obituaries for famous people of varying lengths knowing that sooner or later they will be needed on very short notice. I assume these poor staffers also have to make updates if the famous people do anything noteworthy after the first story is complete.

I am watching cnn here too, how to they decide which event deserves more attention and which less?.

after all, I think we get into a better world when it all ends here.
