She is fostering some of kittens amd even though she told me NO very emphatically I just couldn't resist spiking a can of cat food with a large dose of catnip. All of them are stoned.
This is hilarious and quite telling about the different personality types.
Cats can certainly be goofy critters. Catnip accentuates the goofy.
A few months ago when I was on the phone with my folks, I had grabbed a pen and paper to (obviously) write something down. As my critter likes to be the center of attention, he jumped up on the couch, grabbed the pen right out of my hand and walked away. I simply watched him do it. No way is a critter getting in trouble for being a silly rascal.
Kittens are fun to play with...I personally like to watch them swim. The neat part is watching them first try to get out of the tote sack.
I wonder if there are different strengths of catnip, like some Marijuana has a higher THC I wonder if some catnip is stronger than others and will get them more stoned?

You're right....but the 4th. of July sure was fun.
Momma Cash's big orange tabby would hide around the middle of June and we wouldn't see her again until school started. 😉
Drop by and we'll fix you up. Three are half grown. A group of five are at the stage where they want to explore but the second they feel threatened they immediately run to their safe place, even if they have to run right through the supposed danger to get to the safe place. Another group of three are at the toddler stage where they waddle as they walk, fall over little things and are prone to be crying somewhere and Mama's not going after them. The last two are still in their nest in a large plastic feed tub somewhat occupied with lath, an old 200-foot steel tape, some railroad spikes, some tow strapping and part of a mid-sized cardboard box.
