because of a power outage, caused by TS Lee. I heard that it was a good game, but now I am depressed.
I guess I can now sympathize with a junkie that is waiting for a fix, only to find out his dealer got busted by the police. 🙁

I know you would have enjoyed watching

Typical Tiger game plan.
Les played his team back and forth duel style, hit for hit making his usual faces when this or that fell apart.
The team showed great stamina starting in the third quarter by showing they could outlast the Ducks.
Toward the end it was Tigers dominance taking advantage of every slip the Ducks made.

Offense looked good and the defense also.
nothing fancy. They just executed.
I am glad to see Crowton gone.
When Shepherd(sp?) returns there will be more options on the offense.
LSU was much more physical and quicker on the line on both sides of the ball.
Miles has just got to keep them motivated and avoid blowing a game that they should win.
Haven't seen the sun since Wed here.
We had steady rain the past 3 days but most of the time we were on the edge or in between the bands moving through the area. Probably, we had close to 8-9" of rain of a gentle monsoon but it was spread ot where there was no flooding here.
Only had a few thunderboomers and they were not that close.
I noticed that the I 55 and I 59 coridor got most of the heavy stuff. I guess Lee liked to travel the interstates. 🙂
Party here Thursday night for the Saints. Watchout Cheeseheads!

Yeah, looking forward to Thursday as well, but I am not so confident about the Saints so far, something seems off.
Lots of trees came down around here, mostly pines that have suffered from beetle attacks. Lots of rain, we had a small creek running down the driveway, some 500' to the road. Entergy truck caused damage to the drive, but C'est la vie.
Enjoying some cool breezes being set through the open windowed house.

yeah temps in the low 70's here today and good wind gusts.

I think that they deliberately showed nothing in pre-season. They have a lot of tools unless Brees goes down with an injury.
I am optimistic that it will be a very good year. At least,a run to the NFC championship game.
A loss to GB now would'nt be a big loss since a January win over them is all that counts.

I thought the Les Miles game plan consisted of playing a close game and winning with a bouncing over the head lateral from the place holder on a fake field goal, or a Hail Mary tip drill in the endzone. ... I swear, he's the luckiest coach in the NCAA. The man craps gold.

If LSU had a top tier quarterback, I think they could go all the way. They may need some receivers also- I saw quite a few dropped balls.
I am worried about the Saint's D-Line. I don't remember one tackle by the Defensive Line during pre-season. I hope they were sand bagging- otherwise it is going to be a long season.

Miles is keepin an QB ace up his sleeve in new recruit Zach Mettenberger, a former UGA top prospect who got ito some troubl at GA and played JC ball last fall. He signed up with LSU this spring.
One of ther reasons that the Jefferson incident did not phase LSU coaches.
I don't care if the Saints start slow but I think they can finish strong.
