Michigan State has chosen ugly green on green with a lot of green on the helmets for the Michigan game. A good way to hide on a green football field.

I think it is time for the NCAA to call it what it is, "Unsportsmanlike Conduct".

The Mountain West banned Boise State from their all blue on blue turf for conference games. I mean it was impossible to watch TV and see any plays.

I don't care for it when Oregon or Marshall does it either. The Big Ten and Pac 12 should put an end to it since the NCAA lacks the testicular fortitude.

That photo you linked looks like very dark green jerseys and darker (black?) pants. That's not even close to what Boise pulled. They intentionally dyed their turf to be exactly the same color as their home uniforms. They they'd wear those blue helmets, jerseys, and pants. If they were not doing for advantage, they could have worn orange jerseys occassionally at home ...

There is no way you could make a green uniform that blends that well into natural grass.

I Missed The Black Pants

I assume it will be a night games as is their one the following week versus Wisconsin.

At night the colors due not have to be a perfect match as everything appears duller.

Michigan State is just Better

..than that team that insisted on joining to make it The Big 11 a few years back...

...and you're just jealous that your team doesn't have green uniforms, or they'd join in the trend

nanner nanner nah nah.. 😛

But in reality I do tend to agree with that double standard potential. Not that the NCAA would ever indicate any double standards for some teams. Naw, never happen now would it...

Broncos do wear orange at home

It didn't make things any easier for the opponent. Final score BSU 51, Fresno State 0

We used to play football against a team that had uniforms the same color as the football, so we just tried to knock down everybody.

The refs could not even tell who had the ball.

I can remember tuning in on Boise last fall and seeing blue uniforms on blue field and turning to a different game cause on a 55in screen I was getting a big screen headache.

Gimme a green field and a green felt to play on, that is not too much to ask for.
