Wendell,
Although I McRibbed you a bit about the thing on FB and here..... I have a confession. My mother-in-law decided to have one just about everyday since they came back. After having to fetch one for her.....I broke down and had one. Not bad I must admit....:)

So how the heck do I get those stinkin' stains out my shirt....geeeezzzzz

There is a chain of grocery stores in my area that sells pork patties that taste just like the Mcribs. Try checking out your local grocery store, you might be able to find something similiar.

Jimmy - I'm personally not that desperate.

Just - They're definitely not a good choice for eating on your lap in the car. For that, I suggest Taco Bell burritos. If you get the Fresco-style, my understanding is that they're like a health food.

Snoop - 2 was my limit as well.

Stephen - I learned from my wife years ago that if most people disagree with you, there's a possibility you might be wrong.

Wendell - Well maybe just one more tomorrow.

Just in case somebody thinks I'm serious 😉

Well duh, but for two bucks and change and you can get one in about five minutes without leaving your car, the McRib is not bad.

Steve

Curious.

My experience has not taken that route.:-)

Look in the frozen food section of your local WalMart. The Banquet brand has those patties in a TV dinner and also in a tray of 6 or 8. Go by their deli section and get some of their hogie buns and you are in business.

I finally broke down and tried one. Not too bad, with that BBQ sauce (just barely) overcoming the chewy texture. Still don't see the need to shape the patties as if there were actual little bones in there that you might be biting into. And thankful they don't have a McRumproast.

You'd be surprised, especially in my small town!! At dinner time the drive thru is PACKED!! Can't even get in there to return a Redbox DVD. Plus a lot of the poor and homeless here and in Salem & Portland frequent the local McDs for the dollar menu. I like to go to McDs very RARELY. After watching "Super Size Me" & "King Corn", it made me step away from the McDonalds!!! I do like their soft serve and that's my treat that I get when going there.

MY favorite fast food joint is In-N-Out Burger. Fortunately & unfortunately there is no In-N-Out in Oregon. I'd be in big trouble if there was!!! :-O

But for some fast-food fans, the tastiest development of all is McDonald's plans to bring back the vaunted McRib sandwich in November. And this time, the sandwich will appear not just sporadically but nationwide as part of a serious rollout.

McDonald's announced Monday that the boneless barbecue pork sandwich will be sold at every U.S. location from now through Nov. 14.

While the appeal of the boneless pork patty sandwich is a head-scratcher for some folks, to others the McRib is a cult sensation. After all, if it's such a success, why pop it in and out of the marketplace instead of making the McRib permanent?

Sams Club has a similiar 8 count Rib Sandwich, for less than 10 bucks.

I was thinking about you guys the other morning.

I dropped my kiddo off at school late last week because he had been sick. On my in to the office I stopped at McDs for breakfast. It was 10:32, so no more breakfast. I had a McRib for breakfast instead. MMMmmmm!
