The latest time to drop off mail at any nearby post office is 4:30 p.m. I made it there at 2:55 with my big envelopes filled with IRS and State Income Tax forms. One got a check, the other will send back more than enough to cover that.

You probably don't need them thanks to all the out-of-stater's giving away money to you all. Besides, what would you spend the extra money on? Roads?

When I lived there, the roads were generally in pretty good shape.... but that's why the property taxes are so high.......

We let the trophy home owners pay our taxes.

I think my real extate taxes are pretty reasonable, especially compared to Vermont. Of course, it varies from town to town.

I've had mine ready for awhile, but waited until today to pay them. I see they are now wanting a minimum tax. We are taxed enough already, the maximum is what needs to be addressed by lowering it.
