Anyone want to connect?
My profile is at http://www.linkedin.com/in/harntech
I believe I already good sir - along with many others.
I still don't get the point of it all.
Same with facebook. Bunches of folks from my long, long past always want to be friends.
I still don't get it all.
What's the point?
Maybe there is no point.
I see it as a networking opportunity. If you are looking for work or just catching up with old friends, it's a great way to network.
Is that some kind of modern day pick up line? JRL
Now, dat right dere is funneh...
ROFL! Sorry, you're not my type.
Just sent you an invite Wendell.
Thanks
Chuck
I am LinkedIn. If you have been to my page, it is probably barren screen. I've never opened it.
When I go there it is like when I open a facebook page, I get a screen that that tells me that my computer cannot open that page until I sign in or sign on.
It is all I can do to keep up with my email, not going to try to deal with update of a personal webpage until I have more personal time.
Confirmed! Thanks! 🙂
As I said the other day, I am signed up with LinkedIn but I'm not sure why. I even signed up for some of the "groups" and got confirmation that I was accepted. I don't know if it's a coincidence but I seem to be getting a lot more unsolicited emails wanting to sell me stuff since I signed up. Maybe some day I will get a big surge of jobs because of it, so I guess it's worth a try. This site we're on now seems to be about the most ideal format for networking if you ask me.
Ok, so I'm browsing LinkedIn a few minutes ago, looking at a list of "connections" and I see this:
Note the "you" icon next to my name. I found myself wondering why it would be necessary to inform me that I am me. Someone at LinkedIn obviously experienced a moment of brilliance. All this time, I thought I might be someone else, but I wasn't sure. Whew! At least now I know.
