We might try to make this a slightly late valentines gift to each other, if it works out it'd be great.
Any body want to try and meet up in the area? Unfortunately it's only about a month and 1/2 before the Western States Survey Conference that's at a different venue just down the street a bit. Not sure at this point if I would try to get to the conference even though there looks like a few good topics of discussion are planned. We'll see.
OH, well, I tried. Went to check the ticket prices and possibly buy them and set up accommodations last night, but I apparently waited too long and it's been rescheduled for October. Such is life, but I also checked on whose going to be in that particular town between the 18th and 27th (I am in the process of changing jobs and will be leaving my current employ on the 17th, but won't start the new one until the 28th). The week of the 23rd there will be John Fogerty and Chicago, thought I saw that TOTO & BTO were going to be there around that time also. So should I find myself going to Vegas in the near future, might anyone want to possibly try to coincide and at least maybe try to meet up for dinner and/or drinks??ÿ?ÿ
GRRRRRRRRRRR! These darn celebrities keep messing up my plans. NOW John Fogerty is postponed until October and the best non-resident performers will be Chicago (at least through the websites I'm using, I've discovered that the actual hotels have shows on their websites that aren't listed on some ticket sites like Vegas.com
Since no one has responded I'm going to assume that it doesn't align with your scheduling, oh well perhaps some other time then.
I just noticed the Who is kicking off a '22 tour.?ÿ Hopefully all the venues are ADA compliant for wheelchairs and walkers.?ÿ Bottled oxygen will be available in the concourse...
I attended a small Kingston Trio gig a few years ago.?ÿ Surprisingly I was one of the younger attendees.?ÿ So now I'm wondering if Las Vegas has any numbers up for "Who's going to kick the bucket next".?ÿ?ÿ
Pun intended.
Years ago dad got into a "death pool" where you drew the celebrity from a hat, he drew Frank Gifford and said even though he's old he's probably in the best shape of the bunch, needless to say he didn't win.
