I used to do CryptoQuote puzzles...could solve them in less than 3 minutes...was proud of my skill and ability...then Kent introduced me to Mr. Edwin Olson...

Now my leisure time activities are drinking beer...and beer leg.

DDSM

P.S. Kent, I am still working on that software that solves the 'survey'.

I like the cryptograms as well. I created a few on the old site, but Dan solved them in 8 seconds.

I like the crosswords as well. I can get the Mon. Tues. and Wed. of the New York Times, but have trouble with the harder ones.

Soduko....I like the "hard" ones. But they take a while for me.

As to jigsaw puzzles, they're fun, but with cats, they like to jump up on the table and slide all the pieces onto the floor. Can't ever keep all the pieces.

Recently saw a 3d puzzle of a globe at Barnes-and-noble. It was a spherical-shaped puzzle. Never saw one of those before. It seems it was a bit pricy...but I might just have to get one of those.

Mine would just go and sprawl all over the top of my puzzle and not move. I think she liked the heat from the light, or just liked preventing me from doing something *I* liked. She also chewed up a few pieces, batted a few to the floor, but luckily she never stole any. You know how hard it is to put a chewed up puzzle piece into its spot on a puzzle??? :-S 😛 :cat:

Jigsaw Puzzle and leisure time activity>Wow Angel!

You might have a small jigsaw issue going on there!!! With that many puzzles and all, I'm a little concerned! There might be a 12 step program for that actually!!!! LOL
I'd prefer Texas two step myself! 🙂

Our cat is gentle on the puzzle, even when the dogs want to play with him..

You must have saw my photos. :-$ My friends all wanted to see my puzzle room and my organizational skills put together so one day I finally went in there and took pics and a video.

I had over 500 puzzles at one time. I had this thing about buying them for 99 cents at the thrift stores and storing them for later. I guess you could say I had puzzle OCD. I probably did do most of them, though, so it wasn't like I wasted money. Or maybe I did but it was therapy for me. Next house we buy I'll probably have yet another puzzle room. Wendell likes it because I stay out of his hair, things are quiet, and he says he "gets work done" without me nagging him. Humph!!! 😛
