I need to lift the front of my 2001 jeep Cherokee with a handyman. But I see some plastic on the bumper. I always assumed that jeeps were made to accommodate high lift Jack's. Is this a good idea? Any advice?

Love those vehicles.?ÿ And I think many others do too.?ÿ Makes me think if they came out with a new model that looked like that version Cherokee they'd sell more than they could make.?ÿ Well, that's the case for all vehicles these days, but still

There is an attachment to use on steel bumpers, but shouldn't be used on plastic ones.

Can you lift it from the front differential? I'm not sure what a handyman is but I use a large floor jack on either the frame or bottom of the front of rear differential of my Silverado. The Cherokee is unibody so no frame in the traditional sense. Just has to be something solid you can lift it from like the factory lift points.?ÿ
