Checked the weather for my trip East. Of course the rain forest that I live in is going to be clear and sunnny for a change and where its been nice and sunny is forecasting rain.:pissed: At least we'll feel at home, although temps will be in the 70's while we're used to 50's. Told my daughter and son-in-law, who will be there from So Cal, that they better bring their parkas:-P
Safe Travels Rich!

Was just back east...Weather there was very similar to Oregon. In fact, I think a few days were warmer than here. But your So Cal kids definitely are going to think its cold. LOL!!! B-)
Have fun!!! :-$
Thanks guys, we're 1/4 of the way there. Sitting in Seattle till 11. Too bad our schedules didn't align Angel. Yeah the kids will be freezing in 70's temps and we'be sweating like crazy, our Summer barely got out of the 60's.
Joe, hope all is well with you and Jean-Ann, we'll have to make the effort to see you guys on our next trip to Oregon, don't know when that will be though.

Have a safe trip back east. Enjoy! 🙂
Where's "back east" for ya?
Poughkeepsie, NY area, where I grew up and learned the beginning stages of this wonderful proffession.
Ahh, Dutchess County
Richard, I got my start in Dutchess County (Milton Chazen Associates) in 1969.
Who did you work for and when?
Ahh, Dutchess County
Started working for my dad when I was 14 around 1972 until 1977, when economy went South, thne went into Army. After service worked at Hayward & Paken, Morris & Andros, Eustance & Horowitz, Dutchess County DPW, then moved West.
As an aside my dad and Milt didn't see eye to eye very often. I have a short story of my only encounter with Milt, but it' s not for a public forum.
As it turns out I have to take SIL back to JFK on Monday the 8th, perhaps ther's an oppurtunity to meet somehow, or if you can find your way up here w we do not leave til Friday the 12th. If we can make our schedules mesh, that would be great, I'll try to keep an eye on my email (in my profile), or keep intouch here. I may see about getting in touch with Ken Salzman in Pawling.
I was in Alexandria, VA for two weeks in mid-September (helping my Sister nurse my Mom after total hip replacement). It was absolutely beautiful chamber of commerce weather, mid 70s, low humidity.
