I have only a tiny whiney thing to say.
Boots protect from snakes.
And, if you leave them in the garage all summer, often one of those slithering thangs could take up your boot, as a winter habitation. So, check them in the fall.

Wow, in Montana that means it should get to rest for what, three weeks?
I use my boot dryer year round. Since doing that, my boots last a lot longer and I no longer get the occasional locker room funk wafting from my boots.
