Shouldn't be hard. They tend to cut each other's throat there from time to time.

Tyler is about 45 min. North of me. This should be good.

I just them an email saying that Kris Morgan out of Rusk would drive up and do it for $10 less than the cheapest surveyor in Tyler. 😉

I think because of the surveying school there, you can hardly throw a scribed rock without hitting a surveyor.

Actually that is true about real estate agents in Tyler because they number in the many thousands as compared to several dozen surveyors.

LOL! That was great! FWIW, The money has to be VERY good for me to go to Smith County. It's only happened to me twice since 2002, so I'm not holding my breath. 🙂

I kind of think that if I were the cheapest surveyor in Tyler Tx, I would still be a little afraid of taking on a job from someone this blatant. I would wonder if I would get paid at all.

Probably a seller, and the buyer put a contingency on the sale that it must be surveyed. Therefore, the seller could care less if it's right or wrong, as long as it is CHEAP.

I think someone should email him and ask, "Hey, while you're at it, can you find the cheapest realtor?" Then say, "That should save you enough money to pay the surveyor several times over".

Ever notice that no one balks at the realtor fee (nothing new there), the appraisal fee, the home inspection fee, or pest control fee (if needed)?
