I only have two "run of the mill" work orders for today.?ÿ Total fees will total around $1600 and I'll be home by noon or so.?ÿ The only drawback is they are around 60 miles apart.?ÿ My 70 year old back hates to ride in the truck that long.
So I'm sitting here thinking about putting off one job or the other until it's more convenient.?ÿ Years past I would have crawled bare-bellied over broken glass to get easy-money jobs like this...and now I'm thinking about blowing it off.?ÿ WTF??ÿ
Old age is so confusing...
Just plug ??Dark Side of the Moon? or ??Closer to Home? in the 8 track and reminisce while traveling. There is another accompaniment to the music which you may enjoy along the way as well. ?????ÿ

provided it doesn't get stuck on "I'm gonna be (500 miles)"
Most of my jobs average 125 miles from home and at 73 years old, I am stiff in all the wrong places when I get back in at night.. The other day my job was over 200 miles one way and a full day in the field, I was tired when I got back in that night.

Certain little aches and pains that normally go unnoticed begin to appear after about 40 to 50 miles of non-stop driving for me.
