They are for holding bowling balls.

We threw out the carpet and did the whole house in laminated floors, don't need a vacuum.

Shop vac is all we need.

my wife bought a Filter Queen with all the attachments 28 years ago and that little black and decker motor still sucks (and it freshens the air too).

My wife loves her Oreck and will never use any other type. She has a small house cleaning business so her machine gets put to the test on a daily basis.
