Let's quit talking about and dissing the other (old) site. Nobody that likes the other one is going to be convinced this one is better. Those that are here have made up their minds they like this one. So let's just leave it be.
I second that...........live and let live. Tolerance is a precious commodity that is not diminished in value by an over abundance in supply.

Sniffle Sniffle....
I miss the old site!
(The one that we had a month ago)

Great suggestion Dave!!
But we're surveyors... It's downright ingrained in us to compare and contrast between things we know of, and then speak our minds.
But, I will try to play nice, and up to now, believe I have done so.

okey dokey
Good suggestion but it probably won't stick to the wall.
It like you guys are deciding which girl to ask to the prom. Very juvenile in a way.
Both sites are resources. Both have assets and posters that I am familiar with in the past.
I have been reading POB for nearly 30 years and it is a shame that people do not have that lineage to them.
Their new site is different. Wendall explained that he gave this site to those who wished a simplified life on the web.
I suspect in the future that POB will be solely web based publication (hence the big digs over there). The mail issue will be a dinosaur.
Their forums will be more international in scope and the LIDAR/GIS/Scanning discussions will be popular there.

Good call.
How many surveyors..
does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Three. One to change the bulb, two to stand around and talk about how good the old bulb was.
How many surveyors..
LOL, nice.
Your nun seems to have a bad habit
Interesting.
