OK - but if I do this the paychecks stop coming. Our entire accounting system is based on IE and won't operate without it...:excruciating:

I believe IE is ingrained in the code and can not be removed, just like the "phone home" part of Windows 10.

or perhaps my "humor alert" is not working today.

You may well be correct. I think I remember a few years back there being "instructions" on how to remove IE, but don't remember the removal working very well (as in screwing up other aspects of Windows which IE was tied in with).

My understanding was that IE had to be installed or Windows would not work.......
