Besides 3 weeks in the Adirondacks, it's been a summer full of firewood. Up to 47 Cords so far and the wood just keeps coming! And these are real 128 cu-ft cords, not those New York Cords.
What do you sell a cord for?
Keith ..
I've been selling them green for $200 cut, split and delivered (not stacked). It will be more $$ when it dries out.

And I'm guessing double for flatlanders to use in their weekend cabins?

That is really good: I used to sell oak, split and delivered for $65, back in the 80's in Virginia.

The last time I sold firewood, I was 15 (1975) and we sold mixed hardwood for $40 / cord delivered.

Selling firewood is a hard way to make a dollar. I'll bet that you have enjoyed that splitter this summer. Really makes that job tolerable especially on those hard to split chunks. That's some good looking firewood - now just be careful in delivering it.
Impressive!
The local powerline utility just came through and cleared the long overdue powerlines. They cut an amazing amount of wood, and left the firewood size pieces cut and piled all along the lines. Most is free for the taking and splitting. It will be a warm winter.
