Found this article yesterday. Got some wheels turning. I always wondered how hard it could actually be since I had all of the tools to make my. I am curious as to who out there in this grand country has tinkered with such a project.....Anyone?

I always thought it would be cool for surveyors to create a co-op RTN network and share it freely with other surveyors who participate. i.e, if you install a receiver at your office or home, you get access to the network.

Homemade RTK Network
So the NTRIP does not provide a real time network solution? I was under the impression that it did. I am still trying to get my head around it. Thanks for the input.
