Revealing, that's a hoot. In classic Onion manner, the sarcastic twist was well delivered. And the deliberate ironic knock on the new league disciplinarian, Brendan Shannahan, who himself spent considerable time inside the box was good. As that is kind of ironic on its own merit.
What the article doesn't say is the box is not there to "reform" the players, as that will never happen. Even league suspensions don't do that. It is there to give the other team an advantage, while putting their team at a disadvantage. Those are significant. Pro football should try that approach sometimes.
