It happened to me and SWMBO. However it was a cop, we weren't hijacked or asked to exit the back seat. He just laughed and carried on. Personnaly I have more class than to park on the side of the road, the "drive-in" movies were sufficient. ?????ÿ
Years ago my lady friend and I drove out to the lake to enjoy the evening stars and possibly some "back seat bingo".?ÿ It was a warm night and we decided to climb a tree that was nearby and catch a breeze.?ÿ After a few minutes we spy the Lake Patrol shining his spot light on my car.?ÿ If he could see two heads he usually drove on.?ÿ My car had NO heads visible...which would usually mean any occupants were in the prone or prostrate position.?ÿ
We watched him get out of his car and "sneak" quietly up to my car.?ÿ In a instant he threw open the door and turned on his flashlight...only to see a couple of half-consumed soft drinks from the drive-in on the floorboard.
I asked him what he was looking for and he nearly jumped out of his skin.?ÿ He finally pointed his light up in the branches to see us.?ÿ He left us alone after that.
lol, that would have made a great "Andy Griffith" episode with Thelma Lou and Barney in the tree... Gomer, Floyd and Goober as representitives of the law. ?????ÿ

Reminds me of the time several of us high school guys without dates drove out to check what was going on at the lake. The headlights hit a car parked there and two heads popped up in the front seat. That car fired up and started to move. The driver of our vehicle panicked and threw the 3-on-the-tree into reverse. Apparently he used too much force, as the lever came off in his hand, with the casting on the steering column broken. He yelled, "What do I do now?" I grabbed the lever and put it back in the hole, and shifted for him as we made tracks back into town.

Mid-70s in St. Joseph, Michigan at the Berrien County Jail.?ÿ A fellow finally gets out after two weeks.?ÿ His girl friend met him at the door.?ÿ The go to the parking lot, crawl in the back seat and proceed to make up for lost time.?ÿ Meanwhile, deputies are observing the action.?ÿ Stroll up to the car, arrest them both on whatever charges fit the occasion and escorted both into the jail.?ÿ Front page news in the Herald-Palladium.
