Have we become that stupid?

We have in fact become that stupid in that we allow people to profit over frivolous claims like ordering hot coffee and then getting burned because it was hot and they spilled it.  I'm surprised the warning did not continue to say discard box, do not eat it!

People build below sea level in an area frequented by hurricanes and flooding and expect others to share in their losses.  I’m not sure whose stupidest.  In my defense government doesn’t give me a choice.

Bad example, the corporation was negligent and the suit was not frivolous.
