What is the new trend when it comes to graphic calculators? For more than a decade, I used a Texas Instrument TI-89 to run small programs I installed. I loved that calculator, but now it's dead and need to get another one. Is there anything "N-E-W" out there that users in this group like? Please let us all know.

The HP Prime should be available this fall, see this Promotional Video. Looks promising and will feature RPN mode. The HP 50g has been around for a number of years and is quite powerful with expandable SD memory and many programs available. Not familiar with TI or Casio, but personally love the HP 50g.

Yuck, Lithium (rechargeable probably proprietary) battery.
Rather have AAA then use your own rechargeable.
