I have websites that use my domain name. If I sign up for Google apps and use my domain for my email address does it mess up all of the websites and I-phone forwarding, email forwarding to my old accounts? Or does it just ride on top without disturbing other settings, etc? I absolutely want to go to gmail at my domain.com but am worried about losing my yahoo email address... I am sure that some of you will find this to be a stupid question but i can't risk it.

Websites? Plural? Do you have them in subfolders or subdomains or something?

If you sign up for Google Apps for your domain, then all mail for that domain will go to your new Google account. The MX records are changed for the domain itself to point to Google, meaning that email under your hosting will not be used.

If you are using Yahoo for your email, that's just another webmail service like Gmail, so it wouldn't disrupt that. If you are forwarding your hosted email to Yahoo, then you could do the same with your Google account.

Nope! If you don't know the answer, then the question is not stupid. 🙂
I use an email with yahoo that has my domain in it.
example...
ben@willisandcompany.net
on Yahoo Small Business
I have a lot of email archived online on yahoo, and I don't want to lose access to it by changing to gmail with willisandcompany.net domain name.
Will I still ahve access to the yahoo small business willisandcompany.net email i have archived on their website?
