Loretta Miller Kopmeier aka “Girl in the Moon”, was the precocious granddaughter of Frederick Miller, the Miller Brewing Company’s founder. The “Girl in the Moon” logo was originally painted in the early 1900?s by an unknown artist and has since been re-painted by Nebraskan artist Mike Hagel who added his own unique touch to it. Loretta passed away in 1990 at the age of 97. I am honoring Loretta tonight. Round two coming up.
