Around Oklahoma there is another "deadly term" that women use...."I guess".
This is a loosely used retort to a male's announcement of his intentions and his desire for his spouse's approval. It definitely shows a woman's passive-aggressive desire for you to fail miserably at whatever intentions you are planning.
As in, "You think it would be alright if I went fishing tomorrow instead of visiting your sister?"
A woman's reply of "I guess" simply means "I knew you were going to bail on me anyway. So go ahead you SOB..I hope you have a flat tire. Don't call me."

I'd be wary of that left leg. The right ones firmly planted leaving her free to do ungainly (damaging) things with that other.
Sometimes the only thing that saves me is what my wife refers to as the "stupid puppy" expression on my face.
You can learn a lot from a dog.
I either get the evil eye or "I'm not mad". Any reason for those is remembered for eternity.
My wife has the last word in any argument. It usually includes "Fine" and "just go ahead". Anything I say after that is the start of a new argument.
