Great Find. I been a fan of Kafka since reading metamorphosis in high school. I never knew he wrote a story, incorporating a land surveyor. Too bad he never finished it, I will definitely put it on my "to read list".

I agree with your assessment Scott. If anyone is interested, Netflix USA has it . . I think I worked with his "crew" once.
