The tree would not be there come morning. Lol. My BDay is a couple days before Christmas. I woke one December morning to a lot of racket and a poster board taped to the wall that said happy Birthday. I was 7. As I walked down the hall this beautiful red bone puppy attached to the Christmas tree that was now laying on its side. But me and that dog went everywhere together. She was dispatched a few years later by some feds. Watching the farm. She had given there position away. I didn’t find out what had really happened until I was 18 years old. Old Wilmanel was a good dog. The first time I ever saw a badger was in CO. A boy from MS was bewildered in trying to figure out just what it was.
