I have not ordered much from these companies. I was wondering if one has an edge over the other based upon prompt shipping and return policy?

What's your experience?

I'm going to buy this piss pump for fire protection this summer. I like the fact that it has the canvas cover.

I respect the fact that the old metal cans are very durable. They are just kind of awkward feeling.

Any volunteer fire fighters have an opinion on this product VS the traditional can or poly tank? I'm not sure how easy it will be to fill it.

I've bought from both and I have no preference. Basically same service but you are going to get a lot of sales emails and catalogs/sales flyers delivered to your door from Ben Meadows. Their marketing effort is aggressive.

Forestry Suppliers is located in my area. I know most of the people that work there. I have NEVER had any problems dealing with them. I would highly recommend them. (Should you have any problems with them, let me know and I will go by there on the way home and smack somebody for you! )

OK, I think your recommendations are enough.
#1 I hate getting junk mail
#2 I like the option of having somebody smacked around if they get out of line.

I will buy from Forestry Suppliers.

Is Baseline Equipment a Beer Leg advertiser? They have those big squirt guns.

Oops if I had known, I would have ordered through them.
I already placed my order with Forestry Supply.

Shipping would have been cheaper. $21 for shipping!

I've never bought anything from Ben Meadows -- no big reason, but I'm used to dealing with Forestry Suppliers -- have bought a lot of stuff from them over the years and they've taken good care of me. Fairly prompt service. Somehow my hand compass/clinometer combo blew a leak a few years ago and they got it fixed and back to me quite quickly. Plus they're the only source I've found for the type of 100' cloth tape I like to use.
