The "buyer's season" for used motorcycles is usually brief around here. I'm sure it is a bit different in Minot, ND, but it has blossomed around here.
As long as there is good riding weather, the market stays with the sellers. But if the weather turns lousy, especially right before Christmas, the prices drop. Our weather looks grim for the time prior to Christmas. After Christmas the market seems to stay on the side of the sellers waiting for everyone's income tax refund.
Keep your eyes open if you're in the market. Strike while the iron is hot.
Thanks!
I have been wanting a KLR 650.....

If I only had a nickel for all the times I've looked at every craigslist.org/search/mca within a few hundred miles of here ...

I have only purchased one motorcycle off of craigslist. But I watch it daily and have alerted several of my buddies to something they're looking for...or even more lucrative: a listing that's been there a while that just dropped his price. 😉
I have several friends that have shops and make pocket money from flipping scooters. I'd like to think I might be good at that if I had the resources...but I generally hang on to everything I buy. Not a good business model...
I've pondered flipping scooters as a retirement hobby, but to do that I'd need to deal with the same m/c addiction you have, and probably have to get a new wife too.

Have you ever graced the pages of RPLStoday with the details of said collection?
Has been a buyer's market around here for quite a while now, that will change when the oil patch picks back up.

I try to keep my cards close to my vest on the internet...let's just say the guy at the battery AND the motorcycle shop knows me by first name. 😉

Let her see you toss a bit of oxi-clean or bleach in it and run it through a cycle empty. Repeat as necessary until she's no longer mad. (You must first negotiate access to the house.)

I'm shooting for the next day or two to turn on "my charms". At my age that means a visit to the jewelry store in the mall. 🙁
According to the forecast I'm gonna need more than a can of Sterno to keep me warm...

Go with the KLR, easy to work on, parts are easy to find, well proven set-up. And it's a thumper!
The Javad-LS would easily fit in a rear soft case, collapsible pole, Oh Man sounds like a good winter project. May be the best Chariot ever..
