Years ago a firm I worked for had a development project that included 1300 acres with two 18 hole courses. I worked up there for the rest of my life...got to watch a lot of golf being played.
Once saw a duffer get so pissed he threw 3 or 4 clubs in a pond....then the rest of them, bag included. Throwing a screamin' hissy-fit like a nine year old girl the whole time. Never seen a growed man act like that.
I guess he had second thoughts and waded in up to his knees and tried to retrieve his clubs with little luck. He saw me and the crew (we were a hundred yards or so away) and calmly walked over and asked if any of us would help him get his clubs...
No way, man.
He stammered and squinted at us and told us they were "Berylium Pings" (whatever the F those are?!) and would pay someone to get them out.
My rodman, Kenny, asked him, "If they're so damned valuable, why did you throw them in the pond?"
The poor guy just looked down and said, "I dunno.."
Later in the day we saw him and a couple of other golfers wadin' around in the muck. It looked like they got most of them.
Never had an interest in "prairie pool"...looked frustating to me.
They need to add the statement, "No Golf Carts were harmed in the making of this video".
