I had a little trouble with account setup, but this will do until I can get the other account fixed.

Thanks, Wendell.

Wendell,

Thanks. That works better for me.

Could you delete that other account?

Actually, I've been attempting to build a forum for surveyors for years, ever since I had to legally shut down my first attempt. I can't really say the name out loud, but the initials were BP and I don't mean British Petroleum!

I tried several different forum scripts, most of which are what you typically see around the internet these days. There are several out there that have taken forums to a more compartmentalized setup and it's nearly impossible to get away from that format.

So recently I started looking around for alternative forum scripts and found this one. It's the only one of it's kind, as far as I can tell, that is not abandoned. It's great because it maintains the traditional thread layout, but uses modern features and code. The best of both worlds.

As Allen, I think I might have activated an account before this one, but this one works fine now. The first was a different email and user name.

This site is like a light in the darkness came on unexpectedly. I'm really proud of you, Wendell.

'robert who is gravitational' hit the trigger DDSM! I still figure things out but find I need to look most every bit up these days.
I sure wondered what happened to the 'robert who is gravitational' site.

FYI: the link in the confirming email inserted my email address where the user name should be in case someone else has issues.

It started last night as "left-a-tenth" and went from there.
By the time I logged on this am Wendell had this up and running.
Simply amazing, IMHO.
