I'm so glad you put this in the humor section!! that is the silliest thing to a surveyor. I guess if you're a pavement estimator it might work, but isn't google earth just as good then??

I was wondering about the paint when I saw him throw it in. It only takes once to realize the smart thing to do is pull the paint can back a little so you don't have a paint disaster in the back of your truck. In this case, an SUV.
If the guy doesn't take better care of his "scooter" than he did his measuring wheel, it will come apart too. I think you'd have to do a LOT of long distance measuring before this do-dad would beat the cost with the wheel.
