I had the Science Channel on and they carried it live. Man, that made me feel 16 again. For a little dessert before the main course, skip to about 37:30 into FL/GA's link and watch the boosters land.?ÿ

Every high school math and science teacher should replay that launch in class tomorrow. No telling who might be inspired.

Those boosters landed within a fraction of a second of each other.?ÿ Even given the fact that they started back to Earth from the same place and took nearly identical paths it's still amazing and impressive.?ÿ Just a little deviation in the deceleration burn could've made a difference in how quickly each one touched down.

Talk about your robots and drones; those boosters are both.

Well now we can all stop worrying about an alien?ÿ invasion. Any extraterrestrial in their right mind that sees a red Tesla roadster headed towards Mars blasting "Space Oddity"at 150 db is going surmise an invasion of Earth would be worthless.?ÿ ??ÿ

Probably more off a publicity stunt than a joke .?ÿ Apparently on an inaugural launch of an untested rocket typically the payload is concrete,?ÿ steel, or experiments of low importance/value. That way if it fails they've not compounded their losses. In this case he took his personal car which was one of the first Tesla roadsters and put a crash test dummy in an untested space suit on board. What a great way to generate free advertising for your car company and test a space suit and rocket simultaneously.?ÿ

Elon Musk didn't become a billionaire by joking. This was a test flight with a payload (Tesla Roadster) for future launches. Apparently the Roadster decided it didn't want to orbit Mars so it's currently on its way to the outer limits of our solar system.?ÿ ? ?ÿ

Then again who really knows, Stephen Ward might be right!?ÿ https://www.google.com/search?gs_ivs=1&q=Tesla+stock#tts=0
